Hope for Afghanistan

Last year, like many other people, we were very moved by developments in Afghanistan. We know that all those who stand up for freedom, democracy and human rights there have an incredibly difficult time under the current conditions. Many have to hide and fear for their lives. They include girls and women who are artistically active. Their social desires and ideas about Afghanistan currently have little room in the Afghan public. They are so incredibly important. That is why we want to make their visions and images of Afghanistan known. Together with the Afghan Diaspora Association in Thuringia MOVE e.V., we asked four young women who are still in Afghanistan or in a nearby refugee country to bring their vision, their dream image of Afghanistan to postcard format for us.
